White Rock

One of the best place to go during the summer in Vancouver. The beach is 2.5km long with a 1500 long of pier. There are many ocean view restaurant along the beach where you can enjoy very tasty fish-and-chips. You can also see people playing on the beach.

Slainte, pronounced slawn-che, means 'cheers' and 'good health' in Irish.

Shannon Falls

With almost a half-million visitors annually, Shannon Falls Provincial Park is one of the most popular picnic spots along the entire Sea to Sky corridor. Located on the east side of Hwy 99 just south of Stawamus Chief Mountain, extensive picnic grounds surround the base of BC's third-highest waterfall (1,105 feet/335 m). In summer months the parking lot is full by noon, with half of the visitors arriving by tour bus. Picnic tables are located beside Shannon Creek and in the Loggers Sports Field nearby.

Pride Parade 2010

It's One of the most anticipated parade in Vancouver. The whole parade lasts more than 2 hours long. Spanning 20 blocks and attracting an audience of over 600,000 in 2009, the Pride Parade is Vancouver's premier celebration of culture and diversity. The Pride started as a brave peaceful protest (“We’re here! We’re queer!”) and has grown into a role model for LGBT communities who continue to fight hard for their human rights.

Monk McQueens

Right at the foot of the Cambie St. Bridge, the restaurant also simply known as Monks looks out across the water at Yaletown and the coastal mountains. The patio makes the perfect place to wile away a West Coast afternoon or evening.

Gastown

Very nice and cobbled streets with lots of historic buildings, courtyards and mews. Enjoy its unique shopping, nightlife, attractions and special events. Do not forget to take photo with the Statue of "Gassy" Jack and listen to the Westminster chime every hour from the steam clock.

Very unique way of make-your-own dish BBQ restaurant. You assemble your own ingredients consisting meat (includng chicken, beef, lamb and pork) and various noodles and vegetables. In addition you have more than 10 different kind of sauce you can mix. You then leave the bowl to the grid operator and the cook will cook in the big griddle.

Malaysian Hut

An Authenticated Malaysian food restaurant located not from downtown Surrey. It has been operating for more than 5 years. It is small and it is easily missed. They offer main noodle and rice with some dishes you have to order one day ahead.

Ding Hao Noodle House

Very modern bubble tea cafe featuring famous Taiwanese noodle and bubble tea. They have nice music and lighting. They have beef soup noodle and for non-beef eater they have beef soup noodle without the actual beef.

Summer Night Market

It's a good place for a after meal strode during weekend evenings. You will be able to taste many different type of food and buy something you might not be able to find somewhere else. You could also sit down and enjoy its entertainment on stage. Each week they have different performers.

Wangs Beef Noodle House

This noodle place has been open for nearly 10 years as far as I can remember. One of the original Taiwanese noodle place in Metro Vancouver. It is used to be on Main street which was my favorite too. They often offer something special from time to time like Cold Noodle for this summer.

Pho Viet

A Vietnamese restaurant is opened in Richmond for a long time and recently just moves to the square in front of Richmond Public Market. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Metro Vancouver. It has different type Vietnamese noodle soups and dishes.

Guang Yin Temple

It is one of the two famous Buddhist temples in Richmond. Many people go there for preying for health, wealth and others. Every Sunday at 9:30 AM (Summer), 9:00 AM (Winter), Buddha of Medicine chanting ceremonies are held in the Main Gracious Hall.  They also offer guided tours for groups of 15 people or more

Granville Island

It's the most rich artistic community in Metro Vancouver. Locals like to hang around on the dock and enjoy the wind breeze. The famous Public Market sells very fresh fruits and different arts. There are different shops in the Loft adjacent to the market. Kids Market is the perfect places for the kids. There are playground nearby. There are many shows you can watch ranging from comedy, classical play to street performer.

When hungry, people can eat at different restaurants. You will See exhibitions from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design nestled beside glassblowing, jewelry making and other artisans’ studios.

Zombie Walk 2010

A zombie walk is an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes. Those hordes of zombie marched from Vancouver Art Gallery, passing Robson Street onto Davie Street. There are no gates or fences to separate you from those zombie attacks. No one is safe on the street.

Korean owned sushi place in Port Coquitlam with good miso soup.

The One Restaurant

This restaurant has the same owner of a successful noodle place "Lao Sheng Dong" in Metrotown. However it offers more than just noodles. It is a Taiwanese fusion/Bubble tea restaurant. The menu ranged from famous Taiwanese snacks to meals and hotpots. Of course you can also taste the Lao Shen Dong noodles here.

Magnetic Cafe

A variety themed fusion/bubble tea located in Richmond. The waitress wear different costumes as their uniform. They offered various Taiwanese rice combo, noodle, hot spot and bubble tea
