This was my second time to go to Summer Night Market this year. Last time I went, I went about 8 o'clock, and it was hard to find parking. The food stall lanes were filled with people. It was "people mountain people see" and thus we did not get to eat anything. This time, we got there just after 7 which they just opened.
We parked in the official parking lot. Around the area, it was 5 bucks flat rate (you could find 4 bucks too) and it was the same as the official parking lot.
We headed to the food stall lane right the way. We wanted to try some food before it got crowded again. Hurricane Potato Fries was one of the food we saw last time but wanted to try out. It's 3 bucks per stick and 5 bucks for 2. It was actually swirl potato chips on a stick but you can put two sauces on them.
It was very tasty. The sauce we picked was Hot sauce and bbq sauce. It actually tasted better than the usual potato fries. The only thing we did not like was that it was hard to eat without getting hand dirty towards the end.
The next thing was tried was the pan fried squid. The taste was okay. Jane did not think it was great. She said it had too much pepper and it did not have the "smell".
When we finished, the show on the stages already started. Every day they have a theme of shows on stage. I enjoyed this particular night's show. The kids sang and danced well.
Of course there are tons of stalls you can shop. They can typically be categorized into fashion accessories, phone accessories, computer accessories, dvds, and stationary. I do hope they have more other variates of stuff though.
