Even though this is a famous spot for tourists but we seldom came here. Parking is one of the reason and once you see it, there is really nothing special to come back for second time. That being said, this is still good spot to come for the first time especially to see the steamed clock and listen to its chime.

This is the famous steamed clock and it chimes very half hour. It's built in 1977. The clock, runs on steam engine and electric motors, displays the time on four faces and announces the quarter hours with a whistle chime that plays the Westminster Quarters.

A lot of people come here to take photos and listen to its chimes. Many people even study how it works.

There are a lot of shops and restaurants at Gastown. Many shops are souvenir shops but there are some furniture or home deco shops too. Souvenir shops still sell Olympics stuff.

Walk down the water street towards the end of Gastown, you will see the statue of Glass Jack. It was a nice walk along the water street.
